    Create your Clever Cloud account. Then open your personal space (your avatar in the left sidebar), go to the Coupons & credits tab, paste this coupon and click Activate coupon. Your €200 credit is valid for 6 months after activation.

    BUILD

    Use any AI you like to build a tiny web app. Small is good. Shipping is the objective.

    MAKE IT BELGIUM-ISH 🇧🇪

    Give it a Belgian angle: beer, fries, comics, cycling, Devoxx… A subject, a visual theme or just a joke is enough. Don't overthink it. Anything goes, as long as it's small enough to ship.

    DATABASE

    Connect a real database. Write at least one piece of data and read it back. It must persist.

  4. 04

    DEPLOY

    Deploy your app on Clever Cloud and make sure it works at a public URL.

    SUBMIT THE FORM, THEN SHOW US

    Fill in the entry form with your app's public URL. No form, no entry: we can only validate apps that were submitted. Then come to the Clever Cloud booth. We'll check your app, validate your entry and add you to the day's LEGO draw.

I’m at Devoxx Belgium and I’m taking the 15-minute Clever Cloud Challenge.

Help me build and deploy a tiny web application on Clever Cloud.

The application should have some connection to Belgium. Be creative about it: Belgian culture, food, beer, comics, cycling, cities, languages, Devoxx, or anything else related to Belgium. Keep the idea tiny enough to build and deploy within roughly 15 minutes.

The goal is to have, as quickly as possible:
- a simple but working web application
- a real database connected to it
- at least one piece of data written to and read from the database
- the application deployed on Clever Cloud with a public URL.

You can choose a simple stack that is quick to build and deploy.

Please guide me step by step, but do as much of the work as possible yourself.

For the Clever Cloud part:
- if you are a coding agent that supports skills, install the official Clever Cloud skill with `npx skills add CleverCloud/clever-tools` and use it
- otherwise, use the official Clever Cloud documentation
- install and use the Clever Tools CLI when appropriate
- guide me through authentication if needed
- create the application and database add-on
- configure the environment variables
- deploy the application
- verify that the deployed application works and that data persists.

Keep it simple. This is a 15-minute challenge.
